Our Livestock

Cows

We raise Angus-Hereford crossed cattle. We raise them conventionally, pastured with quality feed & no added hormones or antibiotics. This gives us that fork-tender quality, that we’re looking for!

Pigs

Farm fresh and conventionally-raised, our feeder hogs are free from antibiotics and hormones. We have all of your pork favorites - bacon, sausage and ham!

Chickens

Pastured in green grass and raised on sunshine, our farm fresh eggs are sure to be the perfect addition to our bacon and sausage and ham!

Bulk Beef Shares

We are offering our farm-raised bulk quarters, halves or whole beef to stock your freezers with! They are conventionally-raised black Angus/Hereford-crossed. We do not use hormones or antibiotics. Their estimated live weight is approximated to be between 1200 & 1400 pounds. We are asking $1.65 per pound live weight. This does not include processing fees. We will haul to surround lock plants (Dutch Valley Meats (p. 217-543-3354) in Arthur & Jones Meat & Locker (p. 217-243-1521) in Jacksonville. If interested, we are asking for a deposit of $650 for a whole, $325 for a half and $175 for a quarter. You can pay the remainder to us when they are hauled in, after we get a final weight. The meat may then be picked up, after the final payment is received. Processing fees will vary, depending upon which locker plant does the processing and which cuts you choose. You can call ahead and they should be able to give you an estimate of their fees.

Bulk Hog Shares

We are offering bulk whole or half hogs! They are farm-fresh and conventionally-raised. We do not use hormones or antibiotics. Their estimated live weight is approximated to be around 250 pounds. We are asking $1.25 per pound live weight. This does not include processing fees. We will haul to surround lock plants Dutch Valley Meats (p. 217-543-3354) in Arthur & Jones Meat & Locker in Jacksonville (p. 217-243-1521). If interested in a whole or half hog, we are asking for a deposit of $50 for a half or $100 for a whole. You can pay the remainder when we weight and haul the hog in. The meat may then be picked up, after the final payment is received. Processing fees will vary, depending upon which locker plant does the processing and which cuts you choose. You can call ahead and they should be able to give you an estimate of their fees.
