What a crazy-windy spring we’ve had so far this year!! This week, we not only wanted to focus on the power that spring storms can harness but we also wanted to give a HUGE shout-out to the linemen & first responders, that were out in this weather. From weather-spotting to restoring power, we are so grateful for the people who leave their families to help out during severe weather.
The power of a spring storm should definitely not be underestimated. We had some high winds roll through our neck of the woods last Friday. Thankfully, our farm suffered minimally but the damage is still damage & will have to be dealt with. From losing a 100-year old pine to rolling our mobile chicken coop to taking the roof off the oldest barn on the property, clean-up efforts have been well under way this past week. Just like with crops or livestock, we roll with the punches that Mother Nature throws our way!
