Eeeek!! Our very first display freezer was delivered to the Dandy Lion in Taylorville today!! As some of you may already know, we have been working with our local health department, to be able to offer our farm-raised products locally all year round! We have been blessed with the opportunity to also get to work closely with Jessica Oyler, owner of the Dandy Lion, to rent a space inside this adorable shop! She has worked very hard for years, to bring locally-produced & sustainable products to our community. And very recently, she moved locations to a larger space & has been offering bulk dry goods & spices. How cool is it that now, our meat & eggs will get to join these other quality items?!
We are particularly passionate about supporting local, as we got our start from selling direct-to-consumer at farmer’s markets. We recently launched our website this past summer. And we couldn’t be more thrilled about being available, right in the heart of our community, almost every day of the week! Our display freezer will feature a variety of the cuts of meat, that we offer + our delicious, pastured eggs!
We raise our beef & pork right here on our farm. And the lamb that we offer, comes directly from David’s sister & brother-in-law’s herd, near Jerseyville. We know exactly how these animals have been raised & want to share that quality with you all. It is definitely farm-to-table at its finest. We are still waiting on the official go-ahead from the health department, as inspection day is just around the corner! But until then, don’t hesitate to reach out and order directly from our website!
